Description

Picture of a real fish, wild Alaskan salmon, very colorful spawning adult male, known as chum salmon or dog salmon or scientifically Oncorhynchus keta. Male salmon develops large canine-like teeth, olive green coloration on the back with maroon sides covered with irregular dull red bars. This one, caught in Montana Creek, Alaska, was released immediately after taking picture. Since fish is alive, it is covered with slime, hence impression that picture may not be too sharp
