San Diego, USA - September 22, 2012: San Diego Old Town's McConaughy House, built in 1887 is named for its original owner, John McConaughy. McConaughy founded the first scheduled passenger and freight service in San Diego County. Freight was hauled between San Diego and Julian using stages and wagons. These vehicles were horse-drawn and varied between four- and six-horses, depending on the load.
Heritage Park is on the edges of San Diego's Old Town, located on Juan Avenue. In this park tourists and residents alike can enjoy looking at some of San Diego's earliest buildings.
