The Saskatchewan Legislative Building on the shores of Wascana Lake in Regina, Saskatchewan, is surrounded by frost-covered trees in winter. A clear blue sky, very typical of Saskatchewan, provides a nice backdrop. The Legislative Building is reflected in open water on the otherwise frozen lake. These open water circles are a result of aeration systems in the lake, and in this photo the areation circle provides nice asymmetrical balance to the Legislative Building. The Saskatchewan flag flies on the building in the morning breeze.
