Scented Mayweed is an aromatic, short to medium, hairless Annual. Stems ascending to erect, branched. Leaves alternate. Flower heads white with a yellow, conical hollow Disk.
Habitat: It is growing on Cultivated Land, especially arable Fields, waste and disturbed Ground, on sands or loamy Soils. Flowering Season: July-August.
Distribution: Throughout Europe, except the SW.
Scented Mayweed is very common in the Netherlands.

This Plant is from Old Times known as a Medical Plant, especially against Ignitions, Cramps and Influenza.
