Description
Badly damaged envelope sent to England from Bombay, India, in 1961. The envelope bears a number of different messages including “Prevent Tuberculosis, Take BCG Vaccination” and “On India Government Service”, as well as a sticker applied by the British General Post Office informing the recipient that the envelope had been found open. It was then secured by the official sticker.
