A Seal, known as Kekeno by the Maori, sleeps in a bed of reeds.

Kekeno (Arctocephalus forsteri) are members of the Otariidae family of pinnipeds, also known locally as New Zealand Fur Seals. Found on the shores of both New Zealand and Southern Australia, they are also sometimes known as Southern Fur Seals. There are differences in the two country's species.
