Prague, Czech Repubic - May 21, 2011: Staronova synagogue in Prague. It is the oldest active synagogue in the Europe. It was built in 1270. Previous it was named the New or Great Synagogue and later, when newer synagogues were built in the 16th century, it became known as the Old-New Synagogue.
