'Homs, Syria - July 5, 2010: A Syrian man on a motorcycle rides past Crac des Chevaliers, a remarkably well preserved crusader castle built by the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem from 1142 to 1271, with further construction by the Mamluks in the late 13th century. It is located about 25 miles west of the city of Homs. A mosque is on the hill in the distance.'
