Thanbyuzyat, Myanmar (Burma) - October 26, 2011: Sunlight falls on some of the more than 3000 graves at the Thanbyuzyat War Cemetery, where Allied Prisoners of War who died during construction of the Thai-Burma Railway are buried. Maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, it is one of three cemeteries for POWs who died during construction of the Thai-Burma railway, also called the Death Railway, during World War II. The other two cemeteries are in Thailand. The Burmese man walking in the background is part of the grounds crew.
