Berlin, Germany - May 21, 2010: Sculptures in the backyard of Art House Tacheles (German: Kunsthaus Tacheles) in Berlin. Located on Oranienburger Strasse in the Mitte district, the building once served as a department store, and then by the Nazi Party during World War II. In February 1990, it was taken over by artists who saved it from demolition, and named it \"Tacheles\", Yiddish for \"speaking clearly\". The building is now a cultural center, with many international artists staging performances and concerts, exhibiting paintings, sculptures and installations. The future of the art house is now uncertain, because of lease problems with the property owner.
