Description
Lai Nair (which literally means "Black Lake") is a small lake above Tarasp in the Lower Engadine (Graubünden, Switzerland).
The site is listed in the Inventory of Raised and Transitional Bogs of National Importance. This is actually a list of raised and transitional bogs of the country, and based on the Federal Inventory of Raised and Transitional Bogs of National Importance. It is part of a Ordinance of the Swiss Federal Council implementing the Federal Law on the Protection of Nature and Cultural Heritage, the Ordinance is from 1991.
