Utrecht, the Netherlands - April 6, 2011: The yellow 'Hogeweidebrug' over the Amsterdam-Rhine canal. This bridge connects the city of Utrecht with Leidsche Rijn. In june 2008 the bridge opened to traffic. Leidsche Rijn is a new neighbourhood of Utrecht, located west of the 'existing city'. It is expected to be finished in 2025 and will then have around 80,000 inhabitants. In the beginning of 2011 over 25,000 people lived in Leidsche Rijn. Behind the Hogeweidebrug is a railway bridge. On the forefront is a bicycle lane. At the right is the Douwe Egberts coffee factory.
