Description

'Statue thought to be of the 18th dynasty pharaoh Tutankhamun (also Nebkheperure) who ruled Egypt in the 14th century BC. The statue was usurped by the 19th dynasty ruler, Ramesses II (also Ramses, Rameses, Ramesses the Great and Usermaatre-setpenre). The pharaoh wears the double ostrich feather Shuti crown. The statue is located in Luxor temple between the Court of Ramses II and the Colonnade of Amenophis III. Luxor temple was dedicated to the god Amun (also Amun-Re). The temple was called the Southern Opet or aEPlace of Seclusionaa.'
