Shown here is a canceled (franked) 32-cent stamp depicting Uncle Sam with the words “I want you”. This HUGE 4850x4850 file is capable of producing 16x16 prints at 300dpi. Image is of an excellent specimen of the highest philatelic quality available and represents the utmost accuracy in tone and color available. Postmark is clear of the main image area for easy editing. Adobe 1998 color space.

The famous painting of Uncle Sam was painted by James Montgomery Flagg. He was his own model for a magazine cover of Uncle Sam proclaiming "I Want You," which became one of his many military recruitment posters. Here the image is immortalized on a US stamp commemorating the US entry into World War I. This stamp was issued on February 3, 1998.
