After a rainy summer this shrub is still in full leaf. A pretty background for Easter or spring use, cosmetic or vintage fashion website. This photo holds large size extra-light white type very well if a slight dark glow is applied to the font.

It has a lovely candy-dipped appearance with wine-red stems - most attractive.

The botanical name of this plant is Breynia Disticha (Roseo Picta), commonly known as the Ice Cream Bush; reaching about 1m in height. It is indigenous to the Pacific Islands and grows well in all warm tropical climates.

In slightly shadier spots the colours have a darker range, from almost burgundy to darker green, with painterly white splashes.
