In studio, London, England - June 29, 2013: ‘Small ads’ from Victorian religious newspapers dated 1887. They are for all manner of things including jewellery, boarding houses, ‘Bible cartoons’, tea, and pills which are ‘not a puffed up American swindle’! Readers are also invited to contribute to The Homes of the London Female Preventive and Reformatory Institution and to attend a conference to commemorate the Tercentenary of the Defeat of the Spanish Armada.
