London, England - August 19, 2014: Red ceramic poppies at the feet of the Tower of London, to mark the 100-year anniversary of the start of World War 1. The poppies were created by ceramic artist Paul Cummins and the stage design was done by Tom Piperand. Each poppy represents a soldier killed during the War. The Tower of London was built in 1087 on the orders of William the Conqueror.
