Description

Wrest Park is a country estate located near Silsoe, Bedfordshire, England. It comprises Wrest Park, a Grade I listed country house, and Wrest Park Gardens, also Grade I listed. These formal gardens amounting to 150 acres, surrounding the mansion were designed by Capability Brown. The baroque pavilion at the end of the canal, originally called the Banqueting House, is known as the Archer Pavilion., after the architect whom supervised the construction in 1711. The italian Garden, with it’s white marble statues is adjacent to the 2 croquet lawns.
