Rome, Italy, June 03 -- A lovely flower shop near the underpass of Via dell'Arco dei Banchi, in the historic and baroque heart of Rome, near Ponte Sant'Angelo and Via Dei Coronari. Called Via Recta in medieval times, Via dei Coronari was one of the main entrances to St. Peter's Basilica from the center of Rome and from the Port of Ripetta, on the Tiber river. Among its Renaissance buildings you can admire the house of the painter Raphael. This ancient street, frequented by tourists and residents for its typical antique shops and Roman cuisine restaurants, is still an important pedestrian path between the area of St. Peter's Basilica and the Pantheon district. Florence, Tuscany, Italy, August 12 -- The first lights of the day illuminate the artisan goldsmith shops along Ponte Vecchio, in the historic and medieval heart of Florence, in Tuscany. Built between 1339 and 1345, the oldest and most beautiful bridge in Florence is also one of the most beautiful and famous in the world for its peculiar structure, surmounted by ancient buildings and shops used in medieval times for meat and vegetable shops. Only later the shops on the bridge were occupied by goldsmiths and watchmakers, currently present. In the background the majestic dome of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Bergen op Zoom is a municipality and a historic city located in the south of the Netherlands. It is a city with a flamboyant character and atmosphere. The city was built on a place where two types of soil meet: sandy soil and marine clay. The sandy soil pushed against the marine clay, accumulating and forming hills over several centuries. People called those hills the Brabantse Wal, literally meaning "ramparts of Brabant". Zoom refers to the border of these ramparts and bergen in Dutch means mountains or hills.
