Tiki from the island of Hawaii
Tukuturi is an unusual moai. Its beard and kneeling posture distinguish it from standard moai. It is made of red scoria but is at Rano Raraku quarry where they mined tuff for the other moai. It is believed to be the last moai ever made. Ahu Tongariki can be seen in the background on the coast.

Ahu Nau Nau is on Anakena Beach, Rapa Nui. Four of the pukao still remain on these moai. Pukao are the hat like stones of volcanic scoria, they were made to symbolize the native hairstyle of the topknot.

Moai at Ahu Akahanga on Easter Island, Chile.
Ahu Ko Te Riku is one of the few moai on Rapa Nui with a Pukao. The Pukao is the hat like stone made of red volcanic scoria stone. Although it looks like at hat it is meant to represent the native hair style of a topknot.It is also the only moai with eyes left.
Rano Raraku Quarry is the site on the side of a dormant volcano, where all the moai on the island were carved. It was a working quarry on the island all the way to the early 18th century. 397 moai still remain on the site at various stages of completion.
