The iStock referral program is the most stupidly easy way ever to make money. All you have to do is push some buttons.

  1. First, if you haven't already, join iStockphoto. It's free. It will make you feel good.
  2. Once you're a bona-fide iStocker, go to the referral page: http://www.istockphoto.com/referral_program.php
  3. Pick your favorite site badge. Copy the badge code and paste it into your webpage, emails, and anywhere else it will fit.
  4. Every time someone clicks one of these badges, then goes on to start their own iStock account and purchase credits, we'll pay you $10.
  5. We also have a more direct way to target people you think need iStock in your life. In the Referrals Section of your Financial tab, you'll find the "Recruit a Friend" Page. This lets you send an email to someone you know. The referral works the same way & when they sign up to iStock and purchase credits, you get your 10 dollars.
  6. Cash out all that easy money and buy yourself something nice.

What's The Catch?

You got us: yes, there are some catches. Nothing bad, though.

  • The referred purchaser must be a legitimate new member in order to qualify you for a fee;
  • The purchaser must have their cookies enable, for us to track the referral;
  • The new member must make their first credit purchase on-line within 14 days of clicking your referral link. Any longer and their cookie will expire, and we can't track it. Phone and mail orders do not qualify;
  • There will be a brief lag (about 3 days) between the referred purchase and the deposit to your account;
  • If the referred purchase is bogus, or gets reversed for any reason, you will not receive payment;
  • You will only earn the referral for the new member's first purchase;
  • You must review and agree to the terms and conditions of the Referral Program;
  • This program is intended to generate personal or corporate referrals, and not to enable useless spam. We reserve the right to revoke anyone's participation in the program if we decide, at our discretion, that you're behaving badly.
