Goldstream Park is a temperate rainforest located only 16km away from Victoria, on Vancouver Island, off the westcoast of British Columbia, Canada. Every October through November thousands of salmon come back here to spawn, four years after they hatched and made their way to the Pacitic Ocean. The water is crowded with dead and dying salmon, as well as those still valiantly fighting to get further upstream. Seagulls, eagles, herons and other predators can be found along the banks.
