One of the most detailed vector maps of Middle East you can find in the Internet.

Including all the major administrative regions of the countries.


Each country has its own layer. Layers are named according to the countries they contain. All layers are alphabetically sorted for your convenience


There are 37 countries on this map. Middle East has less than that, but some parts of the Europe, Africa, and Asia were included.

Additional layer of countries outlines (without regions) added for better visibility.



Each path is a country region, or an island. Just the map itself has 1403 paths with 195760 points. Entire file contains 3779 paths!

One more layer contains 35 major capitols and large cities.


There are four JPEGs with different views were included in the ZIP file.

Remember, no rivers on this map, for more details look for the coutry maps I am still uploading.

What you see in the thumbnail is en example of detailness. The map itself is 14% zoom in AI. The Gaza Strip is 400% zoom. The most detailed zoom - 6400% will uncoved details in some small islands or shorelines.

This is not a trace, but an original data. The source for this image is a vector VMAP0 database. It took a month to convert the data, and to adjust it to be used by the end-user.

This is an equidistant cylindrical (Plate Carree) projection wich makes it safe for longitude/latitude projection if you need one.
