Stock photo description

A standard postcard from WW1, used by British military personnel. These cards gave no details of the sender's location - the whereabouts could usually only be guessed at from the Field Post Office number used: in this case, it would indicate that the sender was in Mesopotamia (now Iraq) in 1917.
