White Trahanas (in Greek and Cyprus) or Tarhana (in Turkish) or kishk (in Aigypt). Trahanas is a traditional food of east Mediterranean countries, similar to the Western European medieval frumenty. It is made primarily from boiled, cracked wheat or wholemeal flour with milk or yogurt, then sun dried and then prepared as soup with water milk and feta or other cheese.
