The annual Fremont Solstice Day Parade celebrates the start of summer. The parade features a number of alternative, non-traditional artistic ensembles that can often be somewhat risque. In particular, the start of the parade has historically featured hundreds of naked or at least topless bicycle riders who are often painted or decorated according to one or more themes.
