Schwangau, Germany - July 13, 2011: Most famous and one of the most beautiful castles in Europe - castle Neuschwanstein ir Germany. The initiator of castles building was King Ludwig II, the king of Bavaria. Castle was dedicated to his good friend and favorite composer - Richard Wagner. Location of the castle was chosen carefully, and it was built on a rugged hill with a beautiful view to Allgau region and Schwangau town with two lakes, Alpsee and Schwansee, close to castle. Design of the castle was made by that times trend known as castle romanticism and of course operas of Richard Wgner. Castle was built in 1892 but it is not finished until ourdays, also King Ludwig II never saw the castle fully built, because he drowned in the lake, it was a mysterious death and there were many versions of what happend. After Kings death, the castle was opened to public in 1886 and is still open to our days.
