A Roman Emperor, probably Domitian or Trajan, makes an offering to the gods in his capacity as pharaoh of all Egypt. The gods are Hathor, goddess of love, beauty, music and motherhood, her consort Horus (depicted as a falcon) and their diminutive son Ihy, who wears the double crown of Egypt (the Pschent). The emperor also wears the double crown of Egypt. The relief is located north side of the Propylon (or gateway). Dedicated to Hathor, the main temple dates from the Graeco-Roman era although a temple stood on the site during the Old Kingdom.
