Sunset over The Tetrapylon(huge gate )at APHRODISIAS One of the finest and probably least visited sites in Turkey
First settlers arrived 8000 years ago lived throughout the Chalk-Bronze and Iron times. The theatre completed in 27Bc and has a spectacular 30,000 spectator ellipse shaped athletics stadium, and The Temple of Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love. There is an Odeon and a Bishops Palace built at late Roman times.
