Description
Jama Masjid, also known as Masjid-i-Jahan Numa, was completed in 1656 and was commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Jama Masjid is the largest and best known mosque in Old Delhi with a courtyard that can accommodate 25,000 worshippers.
