7.5 - Copyright Training: Derivative Work

Under no circumstance is it acceptable to submit traced or derivative illustrations based on images for which you do not own the copyright, no matter how stylized or modified. It is a serious matter and if caught - offending users stand the likelihood of having their upload privileges revoked, portfolio removed from the site and in extreme circumstances having your IP banned. All images confirmed as derivative work will be immediately removed from the site and earnings will be donated to charity.

If you require an image to base your illustrations on, take the photograph yourself so that you are the full copyright holder. Using found images from stock photography, fashion editorials, magazines, newspapers or any other source is strictly prohibited.
