Adolf, Count of Nassau (before 1250 - 1298) was from 1292 to 1298 Roman-German King. He was the first king of the Holy Roman Empire, which the Electors deposed without anathema of the pope. Woodcut engraving after a seal in the Municipal Archives in Frankfurt/Main, published in 1880.
