Source of shapefile data maps are courtesy of Natural Earth (http://www.naturalearthdata.com/).

To obtain the svg file from the source data I used the Indiemapper software (http://indiemapper.com/app/index.php).
Illustrator CS3 was used to open svg file and create the map.
The file was created on May 25th 2012.
