Description
An engraving from "A Voice from Waterloo - A History of the Battle fought on 18th June 1815" edited by Sergeant-Major Edward Cotton (late 7th Hussars) and printed in 1877. (Out of copyright.) This illustration is of Marshal Michel Ney, a French commander during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. He was executed for treason by the French in 1815.
