From aThe Horkey - A Balladai by Robert Bloomfield and illustrated by George Cruikshank; published by MacMillan & Co, London, 1882. The aballadai is set in Suffolk, England. The farmer is probably preparing to butcher the pig ready for the harvest 'Horkey' - the aEHorkeyaa is the harvest supper, or end-of-harvest celebratory meal.'
