A Regency period man in a cellar looking at his beer barrels and filling jugs ready for a harvest supper. From “The Horkey - A Ballad” by Robert Bloomfield and illustrated by George Cruikshank; published by MacMillan & Co, London, 1882. The “ballad” is set in Suffolk, England and the ‘Horkey’ is the harvest supper, or end-of-harvest celebratory meal.
