Description

Satirical title and the first text page of Luther's work "Wider das Bapsttum zu Rom (Against the Papacy at Rome)". Prime example of the coarseness and polemics of the warring religious representatives. Exact facsimile of the first printing in 1545 by Hans Lufft in Wittenberg, Luther preferred printer, from my archive, published in 1881.
