Description
Red deer stag facing away from camera (one continuous clip, 24 seconds). Roars four times in answer to a challenging roar. This causes a cascade of clicks from cameras of photographers who are here for the rut, the big autumn tournament. These shots are taken in a public park, and there are both vehicles and people in the background to this scene. In this year (2012), and still early in the rut, a man has already been chased up a tree by one of these stags. (He stepped between two stags that were preparing to fight.) Full 1080p HD video from Canon EOS 7D. These clips were taken with a long-focus focussing on the head of the stag. The sound associated with this clip includes traffic hum as well as the natural sounds of red deer stags roaring, and the clicks of the cameras of watching photographers.
