Mt Ruapehu is New Zealand's largest active volcano, and is one of the world's most active volcanoes. It is located in the central North Island, within Tongariro National Park. The North Island's major skifields are on its slopes. The Desert Road crosses the barren and mostly uninhabited environment to the east of the mountain. HD, NTSC-D1 and Web sizes. Progressive frames.
