6.6 - Digital Video Requirements: Frame and Data Rate

Do NOT limit the data rate. Data rates are used for specific purposes such as web usage or streaming. For the purposes of stock video, limiting the data rate is not required.

Video frame rate must match the video format. See the Digital Video Requirements section for format and frame rate requirements.

Tips:

• Always save video clips at 95% - 100% (or BEST) quality
• Some editing programs can create noise or degrade quality if you re-render a lossy clip
• Edit clips in the native DV or other format to avoid compression, noise or degradation
• Don't limit the data rate or submit clips that are less than 24 FPS
