Description
Far de Capdepera is a lighthouse on the northeast coast of the Spanish Mediterranean island of Majorca. It is one of five still in operation of the total of 15 Lighthouses of Majorca. The tower is registered under the international number E-0308 as well as the national code 33350 and irradiates a sector of 148 to 10 degrees. The lighthouse built by the Spanish engineer Emili Pou y Bonet is located near the easternmost point of the island and belongs to the municipality of Capdepera. Inland, the villages of Cala Rajada and Cala Agulla, which are also part of the municipality of Capdepera, are connected to the west.
