Vertical composition photography in HDR technic of steeple from Augustinian Convent building of medieval town of Cremieu in Isere, Rhone-Alpes region in France (Europe). The convent was founded in 1317 by the Dauphins de la Tour and has sustained numerous alterations after the Revolution. The cloister dates from the reconstruction work undertaken by the monks in about 1640, after the accidental collapse of part of the buildings. This picture was shot with a bright orange sky and sunset at twilight time of the day. The church is the former chapel of the Augustinian convent. In 1791, during the French Revolution, when all the convent buildings have been bought back, it became the parish church. It was built since the 14th century and is leaning back against the ramparts. Its particularity is that it’s facing south-north. During the 15th century, a second period of construction towards the north started. It was changed many times up to the 19th century, especially the roof that was initially oak-panelled and that has been replaced by Neo-Gothic vaults.
