Underwater image of bull shark getting close up in the blue ocean of Bimini, The Bahamas. Bullsharks (Carcharhinus leucas) are known for their aggressive behaviour and account for a number of attacks on humans. Despite this reputation, these sharks are not a direct threat to scuba divers and it is amazing to experience them close up in their habitat. These large predators are able to live in both saltwater and freshwater, which enables them to migrate into river systems and estuaries.

Fish from the goby family (Gobiidae) are referred to as guardian, symbiotic or partner gobies, which live in symbiosis with crayfish of the genus Alpheus. The crayfish dig extensive passages under the sand surface that are up to one meter long. The sand is piled up by the crab on his big scissors and carried out. There the sand is deposited not far from the cave. Before this, the crab cancer assures itself by touching the tail of the goby with its antennas that there is no danger in front of the cave. The goby guards the entrance to the cave and uses its behavior to signal the crab cancer that it is safe outside. When enemies are nearby, the signal does not go off, and when the robber comes close, the goby dives into the cave. Cryptocentrus caeruleopunctatus, commonly known as the harlequin prawn-goby, is a species of goby. It has recently begun colonizing the Mediterranean Sea as part of the Lessepsian Migration. Before its recording in the Mediterranean this species was restricted to the Red Sea where it occurs on open sand bottoms of clear water reefs living in association with alpheid shrimps. 4k Underwater footage of Great Hammerhead shark and nurse sharks in the blue ocean off Bimini, The Bahamas. Here filmed during a shark feeding dive where a shark wrangler hands out bait to ensure close up encounters for scuba divers. Killing due to misconception of sharks as well as unsustainable fishing to obtain its fins has led to a dramatic collapse in shark populations worldwide. As a consequence the hammerheadshark as well as other species of sharks are now critically endangered.
