'A hilltop in Leicestershire, overlooking what is known as the Vale of Belvoir. The castle is owned and occupied by the Manners family, whose home it has been for over 500 years, and it is the seat of the Dukes of Rutland. This Grade 1 building was originally Norman, but when it was burnt down it was rebuilt in the present Gothic architectural style. The castle is open to the public. Itaa s distinctive architecture has led it to feature in many films, including The Da Vinci Code, The Young Victoria. and The Young Sherlock Holme.'
