Description
Wat Xieng Thong, a Buddhist temple in Luang Phrabang, Laos. This is one of the most important of Lao monasteries, built in 1559-1560. Located at N19 53.805 E102 08.622 it was a royal temple under the patronage of the royal family and the Lao kings were crowned in the wat. Luang Prabang is UNESCO World Heritage Site.
