Description
Chacana (Chakana)or Ceremony in homage to Pachamama (Mother Earth). It is a thousand-year ritual of the indigenous peoples of the central Andes. To create the Andean cross used grains of different colors which represent the four elements of nature. The white grains represent the air, the red grains symbolize the fire the yellow ones that are the earth and the black ones the water. There are a lot of other details to decorate the interior. The three elements (water, fire, air) and the earth in the form of its fruits are represented on the four sides of the Andean cross.
