Dussehra Fair, India stock photo

Dussehra Fair, India India is well known all over the world as a country of cultural and traditional festivals, we have diversities on basis of religion, Languages, Culture, Castes. Each festival has its own history, legend and significance of celebration. Festivals teach us how to forget our enmity, narrowness and bitterness and join hand with each other for the sake of religion and society, friendship and universal brotherhood. In India we celebrate festivals with a lot of passion, Fair/Melas is always fascinated me and it’s been a treat to photographers.
This dussehra, I thought to photograph Ramleela Maidan on last day, while searching to the biggest mela around Delhi, I came across to a mela in Ghaziabad, I packed Camera stuff and left for this place, I visited this place in afternoon to see where I can get a place to stand and photograph from a high angle, I decided to stand on a wall of Death (Moot Ka kuva) 35 Feet high. Mela start getting crowded as sun went down, by 7:00 p.m. ground was filled with thousands of people. I got on the wall and paused myself for the right time, there was no place to get my tripod set up due to huge crowd, this image was clicked handheld, getting a shot with slow shutter was very difficult and I ‘ad to stop breathing for a few seconds to get trail of a moving child train and rides to get the frame more interesting. Moving train in foreground, Rides in middle ground and Raavan statues in upper ground was good enough to get me paid for patience that I ‘ve kept for 6 hours.
