Description
In the Middle Ages, an entrepreneur had been in charge of the construction of the abbey of the Valley Christian by the Lord of Heathers, but met problems to realize quickly the work such as he had promised him. He concludes then a pact with the devil: the assistant of the latter in exchange for its soul. Provided with an enormous basket, the devil began the work, but in the morning a cock began singing and frightened the devil who dashed off. In his flight, the braces of his basket broke themselves and stones spread on the ground. It would thus be from this legend that would have arisen the hottée of the devil to Coincy.
