Elephants statues for Ganesha Chaturthi festival. The celebration is in honour of the elephant-headed god, Ganesha. It is held on the fourth day of the first fortnight in the month of Bhaadrapada in the Hindu calendar. For around ten days people install temporary shrines with clay statues of the god and group worship him. At the end of the festival, the statues are immersed in bodies of water like lakes, rivers or ponds
