Description
The Kimberley Big Hole, historic museum where 50000 miners dug with shovels the Big Hole from 1871 to 1914, recovering over 2700kg of diamonds. It was later mined underground by Cecil Rhodes De Beers company to a depth of over 1000 metres. Famous diamonds discovered was De Beers a 428.5 carats diamond and then the Tiffany a yellow Diamond weighing 287.42 carats. The panoramic view of the city seen above.
